NFS series looks to be heading to the Hollywood.
Electronic Arts, voted worst video game company in America, wants to branch out their Need for Speed franchise onto the big-screen.
The publisher is looking to develop the racing series into a ‘Fast and the Furious’ type franchise with the help of ‘Real Steel’ writers, George and John Gatins.
John Gatins and EA are set to produce the project, and are shopping the script around to various Hollywood studios.
Paramount are reportedly showing solid interest, but the producers are still considering other bids from different options.
Given that the series has experimented with actors, live-action cutscenes and ‘undercover-cop-turned-racer’ plotlines before, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to imagine a NFS film.
